Shannon F. Eckner received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from the University of Cincinnati in 2000, graduating magna cum laude. Ms Eckner earned her J.D. in 2003 from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as a Student Articles Editor and Member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review.
Ms. Eckner is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and in the U.S. Southern District of Ohio. She has exclusively practiced family and matrimonial law since she was admitted to practice law in 2003.
Ms. Eckner attended the American Bar Association's Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute in 2006 and was named an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star by Cincinnati Magazine in 2006. 2007 and 2009.
Ms. Eckner is collaboratively trained and she is a member of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section, the Ohio State Bar Association Family Law Committee and the Cincinnati Bar Association Domestic Relations Committee.
